Lucid Dreams Festival 2025

Lucid Dreams: STONEAGE is a laboratory, stage and thinking space all at once. It invites visitors on a collective journey through time – between past and future, code and body, imagination and interface. We had the privilege of accompanying the festival as a studio with coaching and artistic-technical input, supporting the students in the implementation and presentation of their work.

From the past to the future – an aesthetic journey through time! The Lucid Dreams festival returned in May 2025 with the theme STONEAGE. The stage in the courtyard will once again be the setting for an immersive art trail, combining ancient myths with the digital present and speculative future. STONEAGE understands the ‘Stone Age’ not as a bygone era, but as a speculative resonance space. Students, teachers and international guests – including from the St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences and PJATK Warsaw – present interactive installations, sound sculptures, AI-generated imagery and performative settings. The works question how technological visions are rooted in archaic narrative structures – and what new forms can emerge from them
