As part of the Corona Culture exhibition, Sea-Watch presented an audiovisual and immersive installation, inviting visitors to engage with the organization‘s complex topic. The tension surrounding the Mediterranean Sea is conveyed artistically, alongside the documentation of human rights violations, which underpins political education and journalism.
This installation fosters an association-based approach, encouraging reflection on personal privileges and confronting the reality of widespread non-compliance with universally
recognized human rights. It raises the question: How much information is needed to recognize the deaths in the Mediterranean Sea as a consequence of state policies of isolation?
